The Bones
Working at the intersection of design, architecture, and nature, Greenteriors acts as an extension of design and project management teams—supporting the creation of spaces that reconnect people with the natural world.
Founded in 2016, we bring nearly a decade of expertise in biophilic design and green infrastructure. Our role is to simplify complex plant system options and leverage a trusted network of specialists to ensure projects are visionary, practical, and built to last—locally and internationally.
With project management certification and industry-specific education, our collaborative approach considers every factor—from irrigation and lighting to plant species selection, maintenance, and long-term performance—delivering outcomes that inspire, restore, and stand the test of time.

Our Story
Greenteriors began with a simple but powerful goal: to reconnect people with nature through the spaces they inhabit. While studying business, Amanda developed the foundational plan for Greenteriors and, in 2016, received a Small Business Enterprise Centre grant to bring the vision to life. That same year, the company completed its first major installation—marking the beginning of an ongoing journey integrating engineered plant systems into architecture and interiors. Since then, Greenteriors has continued to grow, building credentials that strengthen the business flow and technical expertise, including project management certification, biophilic design studies, and specialized training in green roofs and living wall systems.
As the business evolved, Amanda recognized the importance of collaboration over competition. This insight inspired a transition to Greenteriors’ current model—Curate, Consult, and Contract/Manage—a framework designed to provide flexible, scalable support for architects, designers, and project teams. Today, this approach allows Greenteriors to contribute to projects of all sizes across the globe, offering tailored solutions that honour each project’s unique requirements, constraints, and creative vision.

Our Ethos
We are rooted in the belief that design should go beyond aesthetics—it should foster well-being, support biodiversity, and reconnect people with the natural world. Our mission is to approach every project with responsibility, clarity, and collaboration, ensuring that nature is not an afterthought but an integral part of the built environment.
Our vision is a future where every building and space thoughtfully incorporates living systems, creating healthier, more resilient, and more beautiful environments for people and the planet. Making biophilic design and green infrastructure accessible, practical, and inspiring—helping architects and designers seamlessly integrate nature-led systems that enhance wellbeing and enrich the built environment.
